Arrival to Mexico City
Friday Nov. 28th 2025

This is the date by which we will arrive into Mexico City and stay at " X hotel" which is situated right in the Mexico City Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez). We plan on spending the weekend here to welcome guests as they arrive and of course explore Mexico City. We encourage guests to arrive by the evening of November 30th, 2025 if possible to take advantage of the following schedule.

Welcome Dinner

Please confirm if you will join us for a "Welcome Dinner" hosted by us on the evening of Sunday December 30th, 2025 in Mexico City. The exact location and time will be updated a later date.

Departure to Taxco
Monday Dec. 1st 2025
09:00hrs.

Private bus transportation will be arranged for our wedding guests and party. Please note the bus will be leaving on time to make the estimated 3hr 40 min trip to Taxco. If you miss the bus or wish to make your own way there, you can seek private transport or alternative bus options under the Q+A section of our site.

Once in Taxco, the afternoon is left free to explore Taxco at your own leisure.

Bienvenidos a Taxco Cocktail Party

You are more then welcome to join us as we welcome everyone to Taxco. Don Manolo who is a great family friend of ours and owns a rooftop resto bar in the heart of Taxco "La Casa de Los Radios" has kindly lent his bar as a place where we can have a private gathering, have a few drinks, appetizers and dance if we so wish on our first night there. This lovely local resto/bar has amazing views of Taxco and mainly "The Parroquia de Santa Prisca y San Sebastían" commonly known as the Church of Santa Prisca (built between 1751 and 1759.)

Rehearsal

Wedding party to meet at venue hotel Posada de la Misíon for a 1hr. ceremony rehearsal.

La callejonada "the street party" & Cafe Central
Tuesday Dec. 2nd 2025
18:00 - 22:00 hrs.

Tradition in small Mexican villages is that when there is a wedding, the entire town needs to know it. Bride and Groom wonder the streets with friends and family, accompanied by Mariachi music and Tequila of course, announcing to the village that they are to be wed. Well, we’re going to honour that tradition and ask everyone to wear white as we all parade through Taxco, joined by a Mariachi band. Towards the end, we will have some time to shop artisanal handmade gifts from some of our personal favourite local street vendors. The street party will end at Cafe Central (C. Benito Juárez 10, Barrio de Chavarrieta, 40240 Taxco de Alarcón) with appetizers and cocktails.

Wedding ceremony and reception
Wednesday Dec. 3rd 2025
15:00hrs.

Guests should arrive for the wedding ceremony at 2:30 pm local time at the garden and pool “Posada de La Misión” at Cerro, De La Misión 32, Colonia La Misión, 40230 Taxco de Alarcón, Gro., Mexico. Wedding ceremony will commence at 3:00 pm.
 

After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour for guests while wedding party and family take photos. Reception will commence at 5:00 pm at the same location.

The festivities will end at midnight.

To thank all of our guests for making the trip out to Taxco and taking vacation time to celebrate with us, we want to host a traditional Mexican breakfast at Cafe Central (C. Benito Juárez 10, Barrio de Chavarrieta, 40240 Taxco de Alarcón).

We will organize a charter bus back to Mexico city on Friday @ 9:00 am.
